Wakota Bridge
From Bikeview - Infrastructure Wiki
The Wakota Bridge carries Interstate 494 across the [[Mississippi River, connecting Washington and Dakota counties. The 1959 bridge, which lacked bicycle and pedestrian provisions, is in the process of being replaced with a modern bridge. The new bridge features a separated sidepath for bicycles and pedestrians along the north edge of the span. From the west, the path can be accessed from a small access road (listed on Google Maps only as "Verdosa") normally used to reach the boat landing located almost beneath the bridge. From the east, the path is accessed off of Bailey Road.
