Sunrise Prairie Trail

Sunrise Prairie Trail follows an original Burlington Northern railroad line constructed 1867-1870. The northern terminus of the trail is in North Branch, with parking available at the intersection of Co Rd 30 and Maple St. The southern terminus is in Hugo, Washington County via the Hardwood Creek Trail. The trail passes areas of hardwood forest, deep marsh wetlands, the Sunrise River and the towns of Stacy and Wyoming. Sightings of grouse, deer, wild turkey and waterfowl are common.
