Ramsey Street

Ramsey Street (often called Ramsey Hill) is a 0.22 mile long street spanning a 120 foot elevation change, equating to an average grade of about 10%. At the top of the hill is Summit Avenue (and Western Avenue), and at the bottom is Grand Avenue and Pleasant Avenue.

The red line is Ramsey Street, and the blue line shows a significantly more gradual alternative using Grand Avenue and Oakland Avenue. Note that Grand Avenue splits into a pair of one-way segments at the bottom of the hill to interface with Interstate 35E.
