[edit] The Road

Often used by "fast" cyclists, the roadway provides a somewhat more direct route than the adjacent bike path. In addition, cyclists can travel faster as there are higher speed limits and fewer pedestrians. However the road is narrow often resulting in dangerous passing situations by cars overtaking cyclists.

[edit] The Trail

The bike trail is grade-separated, paved, and two-way. It is plowed in the snow season, but is often used by walkers and joggers as well during winter. There is a posted 10mph speed limit.
