Hiawatha LRT Trail

The Hiawatha LRT Trail is an off-street trail that shares the Hiawatha LRT corridor between 28th Street and the 11th Avenue bike lanes. It is maintained for year-round use by a large number of bicycle commuters. Common destinations include the West Bank, downtown Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota.

As part of a BWTC project, the trail is slated to be extended beyond 11th Avenue to create a greatly improved connection to the downtown street system.
