Gateway State Trail
From Bikeview - Infrastructure Wiki
The Gateway State Trail is technically a segment of the partially completed Willard Munger State Trail. It begins in the vicinity of the capitol grounds in downtown Saint Paul at Cayuga Park, and extends about 18 miles to Pine Point Park, about 6 miles north of Stillwater.
The trail is paved with asphalt for the entire length, and is in very good but not perfect condition. Most of the significant bumps or potholes have been marked with bright spray paint by thoughtful trail users. There is an unpaved parallel track for horseback riding between Interstate 694 and Pine Point Park. Please exercise due courtesy to avoid startling horses.
