Deubener Place

Deubener Place is a one-block street in Saint Paul that spans a very notable elevation difference. It has been described as a miniature Ramsey Hill by some. Based on Google Earth data, the street has an 8.7% average grade.

The red line is Deubener Place, and the blue line shows a good way to get from the bottom to the top of the bluff with the least amount of steep climbing, using Milton Street and ending up on Chatsworth Street.

To avoid climbing the steep hill on Deubener Place, you can use the adjacent Milton Street, located one block to the west. You can also continue up Benhill Road, but Benhill climbs some extra elevation (compared to Milton) and becomes quite steep near the top.
