Big Rivers Regional Trail
From Bikeview - Infrastructure Wiki
The Big Rivers Regional Trail is a multi-use recreational trail that runs along the Minnesota River and the Mississippi River in Eagan, Mendota Heights, and Lilydale. It would make a great commuter route from parts of Saint Paul and south Minneapolis if it was plowed in the winter and expanded a bit further along the abandoned rail corridor that it occupies. The section from the town of Mendota to Lilydale is especially scenic and descends very gradually as you ride downstream.
