Ride to ARTCRANK with MPLS Bike Love!

Artcrank 2011 MSP Web Flyer
This Saturday is the ARTCRANK 2011 Minneapolis poster show, and we’re hosting a group ride from our offices in the Northrup King Building in beautiful Nordeast Minneapolis to the party at Shelter Studios. We’ll leave from the NKB parking lot at 4:00pm, meander through the streets of Northeast, stop for a beverage, and make it to the show before 6. Our pace will be quick but friendly; we want to keep moving along but won’t leave anyone behind. Expect about 12 miles and an hour or so on the bike. We hope you’ll join us!

You may want to come down a little early to check out Open Studio Saturday in the NKB, featuring two dozen artists in one building. That event runs from 12pm-4pm.

Just in case you don’t know, ARTCRANK is a continuing poster show of locally-produced, bike-themed art that has spread from Minneapolis to cities around the US and Britain under the deft curation of founder Charles Youel. You can read Charles’ explanation of the founding of ARTCRANK in a guest article he wrote for us, and on the ARTCRANK site.
