Man, what a crock of shit. Just perpetuating the sterotypical 9-5 workweek. Don't they get that maybe people who bike to work live somewhat alternative lifestyles, and might not work until later?!?!
(Really I'm just bummed that I slept in today and missed a free breakfast a block away...)

HJA HJA!
I saw Nickel, Phaedrus and Cockleburr.
I was actually expecting more people, but maybe that's because we arrived shortly after 8.

I guess should apologize. I live on Park and after I got the kiddies on the school bus at 7:15, I took a look down Park to see if there was a convoy coming up the street. I didn't see one, so I took off by myself. I should have waited and I could have joined you. On a positive note, I saw more bikes today on my commute than I have seen this year to date. Yay bikes!

Same. I was waiting for a friend at the (nevergonnahappen) future dunn bros on 38th & park, who didn't show. I headed out from there about 7:15 - 7:20, and I think I may have spotted the group coming up park. But my bike is having trouble and I was trying to figure that out at the same time, so I opted not to wait - sorry.

Yeah, we just missed each other. If you were in a rush, its probably good that you took off because our convoy took a relaxed pace.

I had 4 of us including me and that was just people from work, but then I am an urban to suburban commuter.

Thanks to you all who came down and got free bagels and coffee this morning!
There was a good turn out with people from all walks of life showing up.
My only regret was that I had to work it and couldn't sprint around and load
up my bag with goodies..
Next year!

This was a good experience. I like to hear the part about "11% had never biked or walked to work before." From Shaun M., NTP Project Coordinator:
We had 40 bike convoys and 3 walk convoys 190 workplace teams were formed 980 people attended the 12 downtown celebrations and free breakfast locations 2,400 people registered online ? and of those 11% had never biked or walked to work before
I was part of the Edina convoy... blog entry

What time does it open? I am working 8-4 at Abbott, so I will be biking by in the am. If it is open, I may stop in and say hi. I'll be going by around 0700.
