I got that both ways. Biking down 6th street I would be propelled along one minute and then slammed in the face the next.

7th street was pretty bad because of all the cracks in the ground. I'd be biking along and instead of dodging around a pothole I'd clip the edge.

Yeah I was heading up 7th after exiting that trail by the west bank. It was up and down depending on the buildings around. My one rest was the HCMC underpass...

While I was in the beer store picking up a sixer on the way home from work Friday, the stupid wind knocked over the Long Haul Trucker from where it was leaned up against the building, scratching one of my barcons all to hell and twisting it within the end of the bar.

At least it seems to still work fine. I need to take it apart, straighten the mount, and try to smooth out the scratches. Stupid wind...

Yeah that wind was pretty shitty. I tried biking home with a four foot long poster under my arm but I didn't get very far before I realised that was foolish.

I'm lucky to be biking almost only North/South on my daily commute. The wind comes from the sides sometimes, but it's not as bad as going directly into it (but not as fun as riding with it).
