The concord is beautiful, but i read that they were made in japan, and are about the same quality as a schwinn le tour.

Is this true in general for Japanese bikes, or just this manufacturer? Reason I ask is I see a lot of Fuji bikes, mine included, and they don't seem to be of any lower quality.

imho, i love lugged steal and i cant really tell the difference between a lot of them. Yes, there are some really crumby ones out there, but i'm pretty sure the concord would be a pretty nice ride. I really dont know much about fuji, so i couldnt really tell you much about their quality. Sheldon writes:

Fuji started the "invasion" with the S-10-S, the first Japanese adult bike designed successfully for the U.S. market, and later the first moderate-priced 12 speed. The "Newest" racing bike was a serious contender in its day. The Del Rey was an excellent sport-touring bike. The "America was an early "credit-card" touring bike, featuring 18 speeds, Sun Tour barcons, and 622 mm (700c) wheels (which were rare in the U.S. at that time, in the late '70s-early '80s.
The Fuji Touring Series was a fine range of loaded touring bikes in the mid '80s.

Fuji fell on hard times in the early '90s. They were one of the last Japanese bike companies to shift production to Taiwan after the fall of the Dollar against the Yen made Japanese bikes uncompetitive in the U.S. It is my belief that Fuji, being a late comer to Taiwanese production, took a while to build up a good working relationship with the Taiwanese factories, because the early '90s Taiwanese Fujis were not so hot. Current Fujis are fine, but the company has not yet recovered the reputation it had during the Glory Years.

colnago was in the top echelon of road bikes. Depending on the year, this could be a very very nice bike.

Totally interested, but I don't need another bike. I don't need another bike. Probably has a screwed up paint job and is the wrong size. Sour Grapes.

This is an aluminum frame with carbon fiber seatstays. Comes with Easton EC70 fork (alum steerer), FSA integrated headset, and Easton EA50 seatpost. Ridden for one season and is well taken care of. There are a few scratches, but otherwise is in excellent condition. Great frame for an avid cyclist looking to build up with Ultegra.

Looks kind of flimsy but I guess you'd have to see it in person.

yea the frame looks legit(you can see the club in the lug on the fork picture), but that paint job probably isn't and some of the parts look non original, still a pretty sweet bike though.
