So I mustered up guts/courage/balls/whatever to try my first 50-mile race or ride, and what better place to do it than Cuyuna? Yeah!
I'll be doing this:
http://mnrustyride.com

The registration is live, and the first price uptick is May 31st, but it only goes up $5, so you won't be losing much by waiting a day. The fee benefits MORC.
You can do 25, 50, or a 100 miles. Oh, and you get socks and a t-shirt if you sign up soon.

I know Tigerbeat is in, there have to be more bikelubbers interested in doing this. Plus more people = more fun and less money spent on gas to get there.

Alina - Tina, Risa, and I are all in. We'll either have to take two cars or I might be able to borrow a 16 person van for the weekend (room for 5 bikes and five people, comfortably).

So far,

I think Myself, Alina, Tina, Risa, and Sveta are all doing the rusty ride.

Anyone want to saturate the vagina count or help increase the penis count? At this rate, looks like we'll be taking two cars or one big ole van.

Wow, this ride kicked my ass! Half singletrack, half doubletrack and paved road so it doesn't seem like much, but the incessant climbs made that distance count.

Many props to those who rode the full 100 miles, you are all so strong both mentally and physically!

Props to those who organized and ran the race, you are great!
