We normally go earlier, but what with Merlin's Rest, I guess I would rather go a little later. I'm trying to negotiate this right now with my management team. I asked if they wanted to come along, but they didn't think they'd be welcome.

I'm starting to be able to ride more than a few miles again, so Jane and I will try to be there.

Sounds like it is all systems go! Bring the family, gna, especially if the weather is good. All others are welcome, including moons, shy people and people who don't think they have the right bike. No dress code, just wear what you like.

Any interest in a train ride? I saw Mark W. this weekend, and he wants to do another ride taking the Northstar up to Elk River and ride back. I am checking when I can go.

Quote: There are bicycles for all purposes, suitable for men, women, boys, girls. A bicycle is a comfortable and cheap way of getting about. A great boon to man. Ideal for shopping. Easy to park. Handy for work. A faithful friend ever ready to take tired workers back home. And after work to bring relaxation, health, and happiness. Very nice.

I'm interested but I do not have a 3-speed. I have 3 chain rings. Maybe, I could promise not to use the rear derailleur.

Ride what you want, wear what you want. I ride a 3-speed because I'm slow. I think I can go the weekend of June16th-17th. I'll check with Mark W.

Ok, train ride didn't work last weekend because of father's day, but we're tentatively looking at this Sunday, June 24th. Meet at the NorthStar Ticket booth by Target field at 10:15. Train arrives at 10:22, leaves at 10:40, ride to Elk River, ride back. Twins are on the road, so won't be as crowded. http://metrotransit.org/bike-n-ride-on-northstar.aspx

I'd like to go, but I'll be in church at that time. Two Saturdays ago, I just missed the afternoon Northbound train at the Fridley station. So I decided to get on the Southbound train to Target Field with all the Twins fans. It was a blast. Enjoy the ride!

Both people who wanted to do it can't make it, so maybe in a couple of weeks. If anyone wants to do it, here's the route, more or less: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5524567
