Gonna hook up with Dangheim on Sunday morning and do a 60 mile loop that goes through Marine on St. Croix. Relatively rural route, some decent hills. Pace will be fast-ish, maybe attempt to hold 18mph when moving, give or take for wind and hills. Rest stops when needed. Trying to get into some kind of shape for Almanzo. Meet at Como Streetcar Station at 8:00. Roll by 8:15. As an added bonus we can grab a tasty home brew afterward at Dangheim's back yard (couple blocks from Como Park).

I might join for the first 20 miles or until the first major hill.

Yay! A ride thread!
This route rocks. There's one major hill at the farthest point, so you might as well ride the whole thing, A. A good portion will be on the same roads as that night ride we did when it was like 114 degrees last summer. Mostly rolling hills, only one big one climbing up from the river.
If I get around to it I'll map it and post a link. People should come. You'll have fun.

I might do this. Put me down at 90%.
Since almanzo was mentioned - how many miles of gravel?
Edit: To increase likelihood of me showing up.

Oh, and here's the route: Ride out on the Gateway, do this loop, ride home on the Gateway. It's fun.

You guys are a tad too quick for me on most of my bikes. Have fun.

I'm in no shape for this, but want to push myself to do it anyway.

I'm in no shape for this either, so come along just to watch me pass out.

Y'all should roll through http://www.jacksonmeadow.com/, seeing as how it's right there and not everyone knows how wonderful it is. I hear-tell there's some nice trails through the woods as well. I'll be in St. Croix falls this weekend. Not sure what time I'm rolling back Sunday morning but I'll check in. Have Fun!

The weather today looks sketchy, but I'm still going to ride. C'mon out.

I got lost while going onsite to fix something in that area once. Ended up there. Thought it was a cult or something. :p
