Soo... the SNob is visiting us lucky folks here in "Portland East". To me, this rates somewhere between being stuck in an elevator with John Forester for 4 hours and being able to take a self-supported two week cycling tour of Western Canada.

Uh, so let's make that closer to the tour and farther from Mr. Forester--diatribes about "cyclist inferiority phobia" aren't my cup of tea. Oh god.. what an idiot.

Anyhoo, to get back to what I was posting about: The Snob from that one city is coming to town on:

I'll try and be there for the ride if I can get out of work early. Anyone else going?

I plan on going. I actually have to be to work at the U at 6:00 so this is rather convenient.

I think the Snob is hilarious. I have a previous engagement otherwise I'd be there in a second. Although, how do we really know it's actually going to be him?

Because he'll look like this:

I'm going to try to slip out of work early for this. I think a witty presentation can be expected.

I work until 4:30 so I think I'll try to run over to coffman to catch the talk just for shits and giggles.

I'll be there for the ride and the book-signing. Getting out of work early, picked a nice day for it (except for insane winds)!
