We were probably a little optomistic in saying this would open in December. Will update you once we have a better idea (late January to mid-February is the current thought).
There will be some final work taking place in late spring once the ground is thawed, like landscaping. This shouldn't impact opening though.
Thanks, Thatcher

The ramp and bridge should open the first week of February. As previously said, there will be some finishing work taking place later. More soon.

Used it today. True story. I got a boner for this ramp.
Also, uses yield sign instead of stop sign at bottom. Noice.

I rode down it after shopping at Rainbow. The yield sign at the bottom is good.
It was a bit of a challenge to find the new bridge from Lagoon or Lake or whatever it is at that point, but once I got out of the driveway for the parking ramp and onto the pedestrian area, it was smooth sailing. I'm just trying to figure out the connections (besides the nice access to the bike-repair kiosk above the Greenway).

Yes, it is indeed open, tho where it leads to is open to speculation:
Northbound it's (relatively) smooth-sailing as you hit Girard.
Southbound there are three choices, with only one being "legal":
-The immediate right into the Bus lanes at the Transit Hub. When I first took this I missed every light I possibly could heading South. (If you don't stop for lights, why are you still reading this.) The second time I managed to miss only one...
-The immediate left heads you the wrong-way against any buses that might be heading towards the Transit Hub.
-Straight-On puts you on a Pedestrian Plaza, which in the cold month of February in it's partially-completed state is OK as it's devoid of any Pedestrians, but when it's completed and it's warm, you'll be the interloper, and with Uptown's penchant for feeble attempts to limit Bicycle-Riding on Pedestrian Sidewalks, you'll be the bad-guy. Plus the Parking-Ramp entry is one-way heading North, from Lagoon (entirely unclear as you head South across the Pedestrian Plaza on your Bike, Riding into this entry-ramp lane, until you're Bicycling towards an Aho in a Tahoe). And if you successfully run this Gauntlet, you're on Lagoon, a one-way headed West.
Let's hope there's some (more) Bicycle Signage in their budget, 'cause it's pretty unclear what they want you to do right now...

With the good weather, contractors will be out working on the final touches of the ramp starting today, March 19th. There will be a closure of the Girard Ramp (not bridge) from Tuesday, March 20th afternoon until late PM on Wednesday, March 21st. The Midtown Greenway trail will be open the entire duration of construction.
Schedule details:
Monday, March 19th: Crews will tweak the retaining wall, working from the Midtown Greenway floor. There may be some cones out blocking a partial lane.
Tuesday, March 20th: In the afternoon, the Girard ramp will close to allow crews to take down the current fence to allow for work to the top of the retaining wall.
Wednesday, March 21st: Crews will finish working on the retaining wall, the final fence will be installed, and the ramp will reopen to the public.
Please be patient during this inconvenience.
