You also have to remember the arrowhead guys have a bit of a sense of humor, and while i don't doubt this on the trail someplace, it's probably not really representative of the trail as a whole (or even likely most of it).
The trail has had some snow (like 3-6") and according to the DNR site they have had equipment out packing that to form a base, as well as crews out clearing brush and deadfall - likely in pickups. I'm not too worried about a lack of snow, but no matter what I'll be rolling my fattie - just in case it decides to *start* snowing during the race.

Crap happens
Two Missouri boys are not going to make it to the Arrowhead this time around. Have two entries and hotel reservations at the American Inn for those interested. Have confirmed with Dave Pramann that, if our replacements meet the entry criteria, he will consider letting them in.
Looking for some cash on the entry fees and you can have the hotel.
