Good thing all those "extra" tubes aren't structurally important.

WTF. I actually totally want a Mini Velo. Smaller wheels = more agile handling as well as faster acceleration. Would make a great city-commuter bike. This one's maybe a bit excessive though.

That one disturbs me the more and more I look at it.
They care enough to do a nice job on the bar tape. Yet don't seem to care about finding a proper brake lever.

It's nice shit, too. That's a $200 XTR lever&caliper. I guess they had a mountain bike, decided they wanted drops on it for winter, but wanted to keep their one (1) hydraulic brake. So they thought they'd mount it up by the stem, 'cross-style. But then they hit the first bend in the drops, the lever wouldn't go past, and they said 'fuck it' and tightened it right there.
It was also ghetto singlespeeded. Big ring to whatever cog gave the best chainline, then the chain shortened to the length that the VERTICAL dropout gave them.
Again, there was no rear brake.

Their backup brake is a pedestrian.

I don't suppose someone can explain to me why sometimes the fork connects in the middle and sometimes on one side, or the other, of a fork. It's an illusion in this picture. It's a traditional, double-sided suspension fork. Cannondale offers many types of "Lefty" forks, which save weight by removing the right side. A left fork with drop bars would have made me wait outside by the rack with a couple thugs to rough the owner up a little.

Having just googled "lefty fork", I think it really belongs in this thread.
