I take it you live next to someone that throws their dog outside in the morning where it proceeds to bark for an hour or two?

Dang, I have only had very short periods of my life where I did not own a dog - my older girl had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago and (she was 17) now I just have one, but she is a beagle, so she does not really bark.

Steampunk, I'd recommend following the barking dog disturbance protocol,
or talking to your neighbor, or moving, since only these things are actually
going to change the situation.

Dogs do, in fact, often eat shit, but not all of them or their owners suck.
I hope you can resolve this in a way that will get you a good night's sleep,
rather than venting on the internet, which won't influence the dog's
(or their human's) behavior at all.

I'm guessing from the time stamp on this post, someone may have been into his/her cups while writing.
