If you have a mountain bike, you owe it to yourself to get down to Savage and ride this trail...

Just check MORC first to make sure it isn't too wet to ride.

Hard to say, I am thinking of selling the Pugsley this fall to finance other bike purchases that may see more use.

You shouldn't have a hard time selling the Pug.

Whatcha gonna replace it with?

Pretty much every park closes at 10pm. A couple years ago Murphy closed at sunset.

Freewheel does a ride there every Wednesday (trail conditions permitting) and I am headed down again tonight.

Great trails. Come see how much blood I shed this week :)

I'll bet it seemed a bit different.

This trail is actually only 4 seasons old. The old ski trail closed to bikes in 2006 and the new singletrack opened spring of 2007.

No pics, but I went and rocked it yesterday...the trailhead is only about a mile from my front door (less as the crow flies). From your pics, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one rockin' it full-rigid. The 29er flowed pretty nicely and I had a good time. As I've been off the MTB almost completely for more than a decade, I stuck to the Beginner and Intermediate trails. Lost track of how many laps I did, but holy crap, I had fun.

Probably going to rock it again on Tuesday after work.

zebrakeys and I had a great time doing all the loops on our rigid 1x1s last summer. And we've been out of diapers almost completely for more than a decade.
