It might be on the border of a suburb and St. Paul. I don't know specifically. The backside of the drainage area is clearly visible from the major route.

Suburbs. I live in Powderhorn and rode to the golf course the other day. Using major routes. This pic was found on that ride.
So what is your favorite route mapping tool? :)
Cyclopath? Google Maps? Bicycling or walking option? Or do you just wing it?

OLD Thanks to JessiKate for the tip. I did not know a drainage pond was located here.
Along the way I bumped into some friends who live in this neighborhood. They said that
during the torrential rainstorm a couple of weeks ago, the pump failed and flooding occurred.

NEW During that same rainstorm the pond and lake beyond were flooded and the trail was closed.

P.S., The old picture was taken in Roseville on the north end of the drainage pond.
The pond's southern boundary is on Larpenteur and the western boundary is near Hamline.

The corner of Larpenteur and Hamline is where Saint Paul, Falcon Heights, and Roseville converge. The new picture is in one of those three cities. :)

Look at a google map, memorize (roughly) the way there, then wing it. GPS on the smartphone is necessary.

Aha! I know where this. :) Will I get there before you?

From my house, it's 13 miles as the crow flies, 15 via pedestrian routes, or 17 via bike routes.
