Well, maybe a little.
What are you guys doing to keep your peepees warm on longer rides? Mine only retracts so far, and then just sits there and shivers.

Jockstrap/cupholder, but instead of a cup, insert mycoal handwarmers in the little pouch. Good down to 28 below.

That would not be hard to design or make, but my question would be . . . how would you want to keep it in place. Serious question. I would think something removable be preferred, but, ahem, it's not something I would use.

Winter is the only time I wear padded cycling shorts anymore; the padding works as extra insulation. Layer your standard winter attire (e.g. merino-wool long johns, wool pants & sweater, windblock shell) as required. YMMV; it works for me on my 17-mile commute to work.

I think it would be easiest to sew a piece of wind blocking fleece into some SportHill tights or something like that. That way you would need to worry about securing it. I like the idea of being able to move the... ah... "wind shield" from garment to garment, however.

xc-skiers use wind breifs to prevent FP, baby dick and/or return of the foreskin. http://www.craft-usa.com/cra_shop_zoom. ... 09&bcsex=mA sock or your roomate's hat works too, i've even used a pastic bag.
