caught 4 bass in the same spot on harriet tonight.
Rule clarification needed. If I transport myself via bike to a watercraft that someone else has driven to the access does whatever I catch on said watercraft count for the contest?

If someone in your party drove the boat out specifically to fish that lake on that day, I don't think it counts.

I figured that wasn't in the spirit of a bike-love fishing contest, but wasn't sure since we will be camping soon and riding a lot to the lakefront to rent boats and whatnot but that didn't really strike me as a bike love worthy fishing expedition. Now I need to mooch off of Ted W. for his watercraft.

But you can still go out with Charlie and me and the kayaks sometime. I'm thinking of trying for muskies at Noko or Cedar tomorrow evening as the storms (hopefully) roll in.

Oh cool, I'm gonna bike out to my muskie lake and use the boat that's there one of these days. the lake is a good 20 miles from my house, but it holds some extremely large fish.

Ok, a clarification. You can't use motors in the taking of the fish. Not even an electric trolling motor. Can we agree on that?

Maybe we should have a bonus MBL fishing derby towards the end of the season with a total length/time period and max length.

Well I beat Charlie's leading fish by an inch and a half (he caught a 24" pike on our bike camping/fishing trip out to Carver park this spring):  The bigger one is (was) 25 and a half. It's now sitting in the fridge in fillet form. Thanks to MacGyver for the use of the BAW. My rig has not yet recovered from the theft last week (Wike does not make the hitch I that got ripped off along with my folding bike any more). Anyway the BAW works great and will get the boat down to the lake next Sunday for the BBQ Fish Fry and Pie ride.
