I know I may have made it look easy :P but after coming away with no harm to my bike, legs full of bruises and only one broken index finger I would say the night was a success!

Not sure how long it will stay on but probably not too long. The doctor said if I hadn't set my finger back into place right away like i did, it would have been really messed up.

Owch. Have you gotten to flip any drivers off with that apparatus yet?

So glad I was just photographing you kids in the derby. I wonder if any of those turned out?

You set it yourself?!?

Wow, do tell. That seems to be something that would be good to know about.

Here is a crude drawing before I put it back into place:

Right after the knuckle the finger made a sharp V as described above. I gently guided it into alignment so I thought it was just dislocated at first but turns out that's where it broke. It wasn't something I had to think about. I thought the middle knuckle was broken because i (still) can't straighten it, and the other knuckle fell out of place but ???.

p.s. I did this by hitting someone else's handlebars/light straight on, neither of us saw each other until it was too late. I'm not even sure who the guy was.

Ouch. Glad I wasn't the culprit. Hope it doesn't hinder your bike riding too much. Heal fast.

Then her arm got stuck under a fallen tree, so she made a tourniquet with her hair and gnawed off the arm.

I haven't ridden with it yet and am definitely not going to ride in the rain today. if I learned anything from breaking my wrist in the peak of summer last year it is to keep a soggy cast to a minimum
