you can always check out the website for rates, or call me for an estimate. I can take appts pretty much anytime before 8 pm. hopefully my advertising budget will move from zero to enough fairly soon...that way I can start getting the word out for people and helping the sites like this one to stay alive.

These are "after" pics of a Schwinn Corvette that I painted. Steel frame. Unsure of the year, but when I received the bike in pieces, the following were covered in rust: frame, fork, front & rear fenders, both rims, pedals, handlebars, basket, nuts, bolts...you get the idea. It was as if the whole bike had been laying in a field somewhere for years. The front fender was not installed due to the size of the wheel that the customer had purchased.

way cool dude. havent seen any other bike paint shops in town. I have an old tandem bike I'd like to get cleaned up and repainted. Maybe even get you to do a repaint on my new surly steamroller...thought i'd like the coffee color, but now I think it's just kinda boring. Where is your paint shop located?

It's too bad you can't accept any more work for 2009. Good stuff!

I have an art studio in the grain belt buildings in NE Mpls, so I can take appts there. But my actual shop is south of the city. all the info is on my website. Thanks and actually I'm painting a 3-seater tandem bike right now. i'll post pics when its done.

(from your user name) There are so many different styles of bikes out there, but I think my faves are the steel vintage ones with matching fenders, headlights etc...they just end up looking like show bikes no matter what. Saw one parked in front of the blb the other night...super cool

This is just an announcement for 2010.
I will be available as a Bicycle Artist. I will be painting bike frames as commissioned works-of-art, as opposed to providing a generalized bicycle painting service that my business has been modeled after so far.
This means that I will no longer be offering any mechanical services for bicycles, only restoration and painting of the frames themselves. There are plenty of local Bike Shops in town that will be happy to take care of any mechanical repair and/or disassembly & re-builds.
Under this model, each client will be able to receive an original, customized theme for their bike frame. Some applications include, but are not limited to, basecoating, clearcoating, handpainted designs, airbrushing, fender & rim restoration / buffing, electroplating, pinstriping, and anodizing. There is something for everyone here.
I'll be working from my Art Studio in the Grain Belt Warehouse in the NE Minneapolis Arts District at 77 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413, Studio 106.
Thank you!
