This time for reals. There are some changes in stuff from last time though (smaller team size for one). I'm probably going to add some more events, I'm just mulling a few over in my brain, but if you've got suggestions post them up.

Bikelympics: run by a Chinese guy that doesn't abuse human rights. Not to mention it's totally awesome.

When
Saturday August 9th.
Registration 12pm.
Opening Ceremony: 12:45pm.
Games: 1ish
Cut Off: 6pm. If we get done before this, then we'll do awards then. I'm expecting to be done way before 6, but just in case.

Where
Brackett Park

Registration Info
- You must register in teams of two. If you can't find somebody, than we can try to hook you up.
- Pre-Registration is the bestest! Just pm/email (address in my profile) me your team's info and you can pay on race day.
- Registration fee is $5.
- When you register your team, also include what neighborhood you're representing (or city or whatever geographical term works), and if you have a team name.


Events

Alley Cat Relay
One team member goes out and fulfills part of a sequence, comes back, turns it in, and the next teammate gets the next part. shortest time wins.

Bike Carry Hoplite
Teams throw their bike on their shoulders and run a course together. Shortest time wins.

Front Wheel Discus
Each team member throws a provided wheel. Total distance determines the winner.

Sprints
Timed sprints down the Greenway. You know, like how most race dealies work.

Teams will rotate around events to minimize waiting time (i.e. while one team is doing the discus another is doing the relay and so on.)

Prizes
- Other people's $5. Mo' Teams = Mo' Money
- Medals for the top three teams
- Spokecards for all.

There is also a sexy flier, it's very similar to last year's.

I am consoled by two facts:
1. Pensacola Crazy 8's alleycat
2. already got the bikelympics spokecard and gold medal!
