Maybe if we try really hard and become more pretentious we can be #1 Congrats to #1, but we deserve that fucking spot.

http://www.bicycling.com/news/advocacy/ ... and-oregon"And it rains. The sky is a brooding gray between October and May, and in winter the rain, falling as a fine, gentle mist, can be so cold that your gloves almost freeze on your handlebar. " Those poor dears. I think we should take up a collection to buy PDX a hot cup of cocoa to help them cope with all that chilly January rain.

Those poor dears. I think we should take up a collection to buy PDX a hot cup of cocoa to help them cope with all that chilly January rain. Bahahaha, I love it. Sounds like an Onion article... "MPLS residents take up collection to buy all of PDX a hot cocoa" It would actually be really funny to start a mock feud race... maybe a simultanious quarterly event that starkly showcases the variable temp and weather conditions we deal with vs the harsh "brooding gray" skies and "fine, gentle mist" they get. Not that I want to pour gas on a fire or anything or feel we have something to proove... I mean, my tires ARE BIGGER anyway...

Does Portland have a BL equivalent? I propose a winter biking photo challenge.
That said, 34 degree rain is worse than 30 degree snow.
