Bike = in shape Bike + all the other shit I do = I can crack walnuts with my abs.
p.s. I only do the gym in the winter for the treadmill, because although I can ride in pretty much all conditions and well into 30 below, I hate running on ice.
p.s.s. The people at the gym aren't rude, I'm just impatient.

TOTH to the winter bike camper on New Years Eve at William O'Brien State Park. It got to -14 F that night according to wunderground. I was car camping and had a big fire going, but she or he biked on by without stopping. I checked the camp center later and they were not there. I was in the only plowed campground. They went by well after sunset, and if they went hiking in somewhere, I bow at the waist (BatW). Hope you made it out okay crazy person!

p.s.s. The people at the gym aren't rude, I'm just impatient. Can't see my abs for all the fur... I might have 6-pack abs under all that, maybe a 6-pack of beer too. In my gym-experiences... yes, there are rude people. Both those that disrespect others and those that are simply thoughtless of others. I'm sure this varies depending on the the gym. I just hate paying for gyms (et al), as stated reasons why I love bikes... cool for those that use the gym, no disrespect to people that use the gym.

I'm planning on doing some winter bike camping, but I'm trying to stay in the 0 to +15 range.

We rode out to Wm O'Brien and stayed in a cabin the end of October. They're very nice.

Tip O' the Hat: All the fellow winter warriors I saw on the Greenway and around the lakes yesterday in the snow. It was my first real winter bike experience, and I assumed the BF and I would be the only ones out. Awesome to see we were not!

ToTH: To all the cyclists I saw this morning. Rock on, people!
WoTF: To my shifter cable. How the hell do you rip at the shifter?
ToTH: To the free tune-up I get at The Hub that I'm cashing in after work today.

TOTH to getting back to the bike-commute after two weeks & big THANKS to Joel at The Alt for fixing my freehub same-day. WOTF to the GoPro battery crapping out 5 minutes prior to my best entry into the falling contest... crossing under Hwy 62 on the unofficial LRT, I go in at speed, head says "let's go to the right", but the bike is all like "going the left seems really cool". No damage to bike or rider (at least nothing Advil can't handle). TOTH to years of snowboarding teaching me how to hit the ground without breaking myself. edit... adding this: WOTF to my winter bike for lacking house-training:

TOTH to great weather!
WOTF - to bikelove people that hate on people that post jobs and sell stuff on this website.
You can't open a bike shop, sell a bike, post a job .. here without some asshole posting immediately after that the salary isn't enough, the bike is the wrong color or that the bike shop owner isn't part of (insert blah blah blah here) and therefore the shop should be shunned.
There are some pricks here.
Anyway back to the weather. I'm gonna go ride!
