As Christmas approaches the spambots have gone into high gear. I am wading through 100+ new users per day looking for the one or two legitimate ones. If you know of anyone who has been trying to register and get on but never gets activated, please PM me or one of the other mods. I can't believe it's possible for me to be 100% accurate considering the number of new users that register every day.

I've seen a lot of other message boards that have added to the registration form a non mandatory field to answer a simple question, and without a valid answer the request is denied. Questions like "What is your favorite brand of bike" etc would suffice, other boards have reported it works fairly well in addition to captchas.

Yeah, I've seen "what color is snow?" And "what color is grass?" As questions as well.

Yes, but if you ask "What is your favorite brand of bike," we can weed out those awful posers, too. *duck*

Just so long as 'fat', 'long', 'sweet', and 'mine' are acceptable 'brands', I have no issue with this.

I need a luminescence higher than 14, so I'm going to use a Glowstone Block instead.

Just want to comment on how nicely this process has seemingly eliminated all spam posts. Kudos to the mods for taking the time to sort through new members.
