I was just wondering if there is anyone out riding today on the first real snowy day here in the twin cities? This will be my first winter commute and just went to test out my winter bike in the parking lot of my apartment and boy it sure is fun.

First good snow of the year - I would guess there will be a lot of people. Went to a birthday party last night, and many people were waiting for the snow to start before they left.

I will be out riding the river bottoms with Volsun probably around 2pm.

Cool, sounds like my road bike converted 26" wheels with studded tires should do ok after reading the first few pages on the weekly river bottom ride. Kind of a far drive for me so if I don't make it then you guys have a nice and safe ride!

in south mpls this afternoon. Hopefully the 11
