I dont have a funny - but I do have a quick story about CL fortune - I was looking at an ENO hub/wheel at [name redacted] this morning and was a smidge put off by the price ($180)... scroll to later in the day when I get to work, and find a lightly used one on CL for $60. Granted, the new one is a FW/disk vs used one is fix/free... but some things are meant to be. Picking up said hub in about 20 minutes

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bik/3177983635.htmlone of my favorite ads- asking $1800 for a carbon "kuota" with dura ace take a look: Indeed, it's Dura Ace- looks like 7410 from 1994... and those metal bottles- looks like some sort of Grant Peterson/Ebay carbon frame mash-up. Ugh.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/3211066982.htmlQuote: Can't Stop, Don't Want To? OFFICIAL PREMIUM RUSH FIXIE - $750 (USF /panhandle) Date: 2012-08-17, 12:32AM PDT Reply to: vvpmh-3211066982@sale.craigslist.orgJust kidding. This frame has nothing to do with Premium Rush. It isn't a steaming piece of shit. I'm sure you can find an official 'Premium Rush' bike at Sears for less than $300, though. This bike is a real track frame, hand-made in Italy by a guy who used to build frames for the Tour de France. You've heard of that shit, right? A bunch of steroid-laden, Euro-trash fancies riding around in spandex. Not your thing, is it? You're just looking for a sweet looking frame to lock up at the local espresso joint in the hopes that a cute fixie chick will be locking her vintage Italian frame right next to yours. Well guess what? If it happens to be a Ciocc (don't even THINK about trying to say that shit out loud) you'll have a hell of a conversation starter. I won't tell you what it is, at least not for free. But don't worry, that shit is never going to happen. You can, however, stare at the stunning beauty of this frame locked all by itself as you suck down shot after shot of overpriced bean juice until you're too wired and shaky to ride home. Hell, you don't even need to build it up. Just lock up the frame and carry the fork inside like you just bought it and are going to build it up yourself. Just make sure you have a big enough Mission Workshop bag that you can strap the frame to your back while you walk home. Hell, I'll fucking throw one in for free. You may be a total poser but at least you won't be the sucker that paid almost $1500 and promptly decided he didn't want it without even riding it and has spent more than a year trying to sell it for half that. What a fucking loser.

Fucking great advertising for your full suspension MTB bike on eBay - take notes!seller wrote: ********* Just picked up this bike from the bike shop, fresh tuneup, brake bleed, rear brake pads (Shimano XT) and new derailer cable. The bike should be like new. If I don't have a bid within the next 24 hours, I'm taking it down and keeping it. ***********
The frame is a 20.5 inch Ellsworth Truth full suspension, one of the last American Made bikes! The bike is amazing and I am only testing the waters with this add because I want to get a road bike. The bike has Sram X9 and Shimano XT components as well as a Race Face Cranks. Thompson Seat post, Fox Talas up front (A little older model but still awesome). It also has tubeless Mavic wheels and Kenda tires, XT Disc Brakes, a new chain $90 (I Forgot the brand but It's suppose to be the best). It has some small scratches but no dents or damage. My face seems to take the brunt of my crashes... Also no international bidders please... Lower 48 states only... Quote: Q: Dude, that's gnarly ! What did you hit anyway, rock, tree, bar room floor ?
A: Lol, thanks man I jumped a rock, landed in a rut and got thrown off face first into a tree, a branch ripped open the right side of my face and broke three bone...it healed up well though... Gotta go - I desperately need to sell this condom that didnt work... got some pics of my kids to take.
