Suspeckted -- I want the latter saddle.
It would look nice for my poser bike. I wouldn't fine it as comfortable, but it would look nice. :p

i'm starting to look more seriously at getting a mountain bike. under 15" (that's the kicker). hardtail. hopefully i can find something decent for under $500. would prefer disc brakes or at least tabs but for the price i know that might not happen. i'd like to find something used before it dries out and and i'm forced to buy a brand new bike

If nothing else if it trail worthy as is....

They have ~600 miles on them, I switched to SRAM on the bike. The indicator lenses are a little scratched from an endo incident, but work fine mechanically and you can still read the numbers. The levers have lizard skins on them.

What happened to the Trek? http://mplsbikelove.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=145450#p145450I am interested in something, or else I take advantage of the freewheel bag sale @Suspeckted I will keep that in mind, though I was a big fan of the tektro 720s and don't know if I want to part with them quite yet, I have other bikes with cantistuds.

I need a new crankset. 170mm at the MOST. Nothing fancy, in fact something rather basic (less than $50). Has to be compatible with my 6-speed cassette. I've never replaced a crankset before so if I'm missing some key information please ask me.
This is for my Univega road bike. It is old, and the chain slips gears all the time. The chainrings are shark-toothed, and the crank arms are cheap and don't have a spider so I have to replace the whole thing. The derailers seem to be in fine shape, and same with the cassette. I will also be putting on a new chain, new cables, and new shifters.
Tell me what you have!
