If you don't find these used, Freewheel is a Vredestein dealer and can get you some.

Hey. I need some flat bar road brake levers for short pull brakes. Anything'll do. Doesn't have to be fancy. Looking to spend $20.

Thanks!

Time to upgrade the wheels on the Raleigh Lady Sports so the magical VO porteur rack will fit. I'm looking for the following. Feel free to tell me if I got something wrong. :)

26x1 3/8" (590 ISO) polished alloy rims, Schrader valves, 40 & 36 holes. Sun CR-18s are the most common for this purpose. 40 & 32 also considered (I'd also need to replace the front hub in that case, but I have dynohub envy anyway). Yes, I know it's supposed to be 40/32 or 36/36, but my bike spent 1969-73 wandering drunkenly around the Raleigh factory sleeping with strange parts. Don't judge.

Tektro (or other) long reach brake(s), nutted (not recessed) mount. Silver. Reach adjustment needs to cover about 75-80mm. I need one, prefer two.

They don't cost much new. Like $25 for a set I think.

That's kind of the theme of this thread.

Sure. But it's more sociable and community-buildy and stuff to help out someone who's trying to get rid of the very thing you want. And the transaction is more likely to include drinks.
