The Mississippi River Fund organizes volunteer events for our local National Park ( Mississippi National River and Recreation Area), and this Saturday they're using their monthly River Action Volunteer Event (RAVE) to promote some biking, litter pick up and invasive species removal. Quote: Part Park Ranger bike tour, part river restoration volunteer event - River Action Volunteer Events are a fun way to explore the river and do some good!
Join us at Coon Rapids Dam for a bike ride on the Mississippi River Trail. We will then stop at Coon Rapids to pull garlic mustard and pick up trash. Depending on the weather this spring, we may pull invasive plants in the prairies as well.
Location: Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park 9750 Egret Blvd NW Coon Rapids, MN 55433
