Edit: To avoid a platonic vegan date with dasunt (no offense meant, but what fun is a 2-3 person potluck?), and since I promised some jerks a whiskey party, this is now a combined New Year's Day event: a vegan post-hangover potluck followed by a whiskey party at my residence.

Vegan potluck starting at 6pm

Whiskey party starting at 8pm

Disclaimer: I'm a herbivore, not a vegan (though I was for half of my high school years), and my roommate (who will be in London) is an omnivore. So my condo will have animal products hiding in it.

While crushed remains of some cupcakes are sure to please, I think I'm going to totally mooch off the goodness of others are the party tonight.

However, it does look like theirs a liquor store open by your place, so I'll either bring a bottle or a whiskey-soaked towel filled with shattered glass.

The bikelove guests had left when this gem of a quote was spoken: "ewwwww, vegan veggie butt!" was used to describe my posterior.

Yah, but they don't ride bicycles either, so clearly they have poor judgement in all things.

Speaking of which, can I have that lasagna recipe?
