Walking a dog and exercising them daily helps move gas out of the intestine. Also, make sure there isn't soy or dairy in your dog's diet. Soy and dairy are highly gas-causing, especially in our canine friends. Corn and wheat gluten can also cause digestive inflammation. Also, slow down their eating by getting one of those bowls that have the pegs in the bottom they have to eat around. This will result in less swallowed air. Sometimes, simply raising the dish can help tremendously. And, introducing a probiotic to the diet is a great idea. Last of all, make sure you are feeding the correct amount of food. Often the culprit to gas is over-eating.
