Let's talk about our cycles, and not the one's that we ride on. Do you ride differently when you are menstruating? I've found that I have lower energy and can't ride as fast as normal. Usually it doesn't bother me and I ride like I normally do but this weekend I tried to ride almanzo and had some issues.

I knew that it was coming up and I tried researching it ahead of time but couldn't find a whole lot of info on the topic of racing/riding hard while on the rag. I took some pain relievers/anti inflammatory meds before the race start but it didn't work so great eventually the cramps coupled with strep throat and the headwinds had me dropping out well before the finish. (Much to my dismay). Another lady having the same visitor also dropped out too.

Since I couldn't find a whole lot on the topic of cycling while menstruating I thought I'd post here and maybe we could learn about it from each other.
