Arright all -
Several (maybe many) years ago, a group now referred to as Trailwatch was started off of this site - the originals have disappeared (not really - they are in town still, but not riding TW - sans one), and we need some help dealing with things this winter/fall.
Who is willing to come out and ride a night or two a week to keep everyone safe(r)? Trailwatch has been dealt with by the Greenway Coalition for some time now, and needs an injection of hardcore/yearround riders.
October has been the traditional bad month for rider assaults, and we can change this - we like those who ride year round - who be up to committing a bit of time to keep everyone safe?

I very much would like to take part in this. I work in SLP and some nights i don't make it home till 9, what time does it roll out?

http://midtowngreenway.org/about-the-gr ... ic-safety/we are currently running from 8-10 most nights, and this will shift back to 7 start time in the next month or so. Generally about a 2 hour ride. Meetup is at the 10th Ave entrance to the midtown building (on 10th ave - between the greenway and Lake St) - street level on the benches.

That seems pretty early. Is that time based off any data? I feel like the trouble is usually after 10
|

all you have to do is show - a couple of times a month is great. We are out trying to avoid having you kids/mom/dad/BF/GF/friend have anything happen to them - that's all

We had an old school TW tonight - three of the original TW people were out - very nice night for a ride, and my GF took pics of us at ride end (and we had cocoa!!!) - dang what a good time
