I saw a poster for this at the Hard Times Cafe (that is how I found this site) and would love to make it out. However, I am a little confused on where it is going to be held? sorry, I am that of NooB

Don't worry, we're confused ourselves... The fliers were put up before we ran into issues with the Logan park courts...

BTW, Beltrami park also has a single court that I doubt has seen a tennis ball for half a decade. The surfacing is peeling off in places and it's covered with oak twigs. We'd need to bring a broom (I have one and live nearby) but it would definitely be a possibility for a backup as well. :D

if you motherfuckers keep talking about this its going to be winter before you play again. its pointless trying to figure out which tennis court the city doesnt care about. just play at logan until you get kicked out then ride to another. not every thing on this forum has to turn into a soap opera. thanks, bye now.

Right, so. See you sucka's on the courts at Logan Park, TONIGHT. I wonder if we'll have enough mallets to play two games simultaneously.

Oh, and whoever has the mallets I made, bring them this week, please.

Oh Brother,

I'm glad to hear y'all are trying polo yet again, and I'm sorry to read about yer problems with the parks dep't.

There is a new bike polo site that's pulling players from all over. I'm willing to bet there's clubs who have been in your position and can offer advice on dealing with cities or on playing not on tennis courts. St Louis, Lexington, and Dayton all play on roller hockey rinks.

Y'all should try to set up some friendly play with Madison, WI. It's yer closest polo-neighbor. They've been at it almost as long as Chicago, and are great hosts.

Sveden, PW, what's up? -Lucky

6:30 (biker standard time). every sunday except no names, but not everyone does no name, so that might change. maybe the polo game could be a stop. like peanut butter & chocolate... so if yer not going out to Lake Elmo to wag yer ass like a dog in the back of a truck, come & play. 8)

So, it was decided tonight that we really ought to show some MN hospitality by hosting a friendly with our Canadian visitors. They have a long trip ahead of them and work on Monday so Bike Polo will be held at 2:30 PM at Logan Park not at 6:30 (though we may play past that time, who knows). Be there.

I think we are done for the day. At least I am. Daytime polo is HOT. We did talk about playing the Bikeball guys this week though. I'll find out when they play and we can challenge them.
