It is a husband and wife team. They are based out of St. Paul, but they really get around! Whether I'm biking St. Paul, Uptown, Downtown Minneapolis... there is HOTTEA! I spoke with the gentleman who .5 of the team, and he told me the mission was to make non-destructive street art, and to explore the meaning of fences and barriers in public spaces. They also have some other designs they have thrown up with yarn, but I for one love the HOTTEA! They hope to expand the art project next year... keep your eyes peeled!

Speaking of street art... does anyone know anything about the paint spills/ splashes down I-94/ 35-W?

I thought I also saw one a bit west of Dunwoody on the Cedal Lake trail, on the south side of the trail.

That's interesting - thanks for solving this one.

Me too!

Another thing about HOTTEA, I think he said they were making a website or a blog that should go up next year. I might have made that up though.

Why is this in the games section?

Or is the game portion "to explore the meaning of fences and barriers in public spaces." ?

Mine keep my dog in my yard.

Mine serve to reinforce the dominant hegemony of our stratified capitalist culture.

(I really wanted to work "phallo-centric" in there, too, but I just can't figure out how to make that apply to fences.)

There's a bike parked across from Mill City Museum on W River Road. It has a large sign attached to it with a steaming cup painted on.

wait a second...
the guy i met diddnt have as much of a "mission statement" when it came to hOT TEA.
in fact, dude diddnt even have a wife, he had a BOYfriend and was even against the idea of putting it up online.
that, and he also did quite a few lightposts using the old flyer staples/nails to wrap the yarn around...

now what?
