ok we should be able to get some crazy people's houses posted in the next few weeks.

rules:
1. light display must be obnoxious. you know, like when the neighbors have to pull the blinds shut, and there's music playing, maybe some shit is moving.

2. post the time you took the pic and neighborhood (mpls only) of the obnoxious display. this is so we can keep it moving... i'm open to suggestions on how to keep it quick. at least one every night would be cool.

so for starters:
taken at 10:30 in Logan Park

These M-Fers have the same house number as I do, one block over. I swear to Gob, when they fired this thing up last year, I could see the glow in my yard and hear the chimes in my bathroom. I don't think they've fired up the music yet this year, but sheesh... :x

When I was growing up in Fargo, we lived across the street from some competitive decorators and our street was on the "Tour of Lights." So our family of heathens always came up with something great to disrupt the a-holes who were blocking our driveway and smogging up our neighborhood. Spock. Buddha. Sabotage.

There's one like the house at the top of the thread across the street from me. Down the block, there is a guy who FM transmits music that is synchronized with the lights, but at least there are no inflatable snowmen,

A stunning display from A Bike House.

Here's my new submission in the Standish/Ericsson neighborhood around Lake Hiawatha.
Not the largest of displays. Kinda unkempt. No music playing.
But notable for one creative flourish. Rudolph's red rocket.

You can't see it in the photos, even the much better close-up Skrny got, but it looks to me like this was a tube lamp from a regular desk lamp that was custom masked with red mylar. I interpret this to mean that the dirty old man who lives there has been doing this for years and giggling his ass off.

Near E 48th St and 27th Ave S.

New: 3 plastic santas, 2 baby jesuses, 1 manger scene and a creepy doll in the window. In the Bancroft neighborhood near Vintage Music Co.

Oh, so glorious

This new one doesn't look like much at the moment, but yesterday
they were blaring Xmas music outdoors, and there were about 12 cloth
blow-up figures, some of which rotate, including Tigger. :???: You can see
these figures in colorful piles, just above the lattice in the fence. Also, note
that Jebus' family is peering out the upstairs window. Apparently the
stable had a 2nd story.

The tag is at 35th and 25th.

Edit: I just realized that my bike is barely visible here.
It's between the Xmas tree cutout and the santa- you
can see the saddle, at least! :D

Ho. Ho. Ho.

Since there isn't a new phototag *wags finger*, the speed tag is unobvious and contrary to the pure spirit of speed tag *wags finger*, and i aint go time for st. paul today *wags finger*, i decided to play the next best game.

Picking up where we left off last year...

So fresh it hasn't even been powered up yet. Taken 3:30pm this afternoon in the Longfellow neighborhood, within a couple of blocks of 34th and Minnehaha. 30th and 34th?
