Does anyone know if there are there any shops or services that do a semi professional job of painting bikes frames for a moderate amount of money? I really want to paint my bike flat black and don't feel like doing it myself.

Boat loads of threads started, questions asked and little response to these threads.
Personally I am sick and tired of looking at bicycle logos, let alone the very chipped and rubbed off paint on my ride. I won't pay "beautiful frame" or whatever that start up company from "alt shop" $500 and then some for parts. I just don't see the use of paying $1000 for a bare framed ride.
I've asked around about doing your own paint job, and what it would cost to have someone else do it, but its over $150 and you probably need to remove parts from the frame which is an added cost.
I'd wonder if a paint job could be completed with "glow inthe dark" streaks for night time visibility.
And if a matte or sparkly paint job would last longer?
Someone suggested Penn cycle's advanced maintenance course in which you strip the parts from your bike and then reassemble. This would be a great opportunity to upgrade parts and get a paint job done in the process of getting more familar with an aspect of cycling that makes me gag.
I wonder what the timing is for the course if its pre-holidays or post holidays? Yet after putting in over 2500 miles on this old bicycle in a year over the last three years I think it deserves a new paint job and an upgrade on parts. Its really beaten up behind the front fork and the undercarriage of the bottom section of the frame from hoisting over bike racks.

I feel like an idiot. Hokan is right. There is a whole paint/powder coating forum.I didn't even need to post this as a Topic. My question was answered as soon as I looked at the thread for A-P paints. 120$ for a single color. Let's pretend this all was never posted.
