<  Powdercoating & Painting  ~  Is this wrong?

I have the temptation to get the rust removed from my bike and have it painted next spring.

It's only a 25 year old bike boom Schwinn.

But it is a large frame Schwinn, and the steel frame is nice for touring...

Steel pretty much never dies so as long as you can find replacements for/maintain the headset and bottom bracket, I see no reason you shouldn't hand that bike down to your grandkids.

If it fits you right, treat it right :)
