Probably. A couple of dudes have organized it the past couple of years. Hopefully they do it again. It's a fun time for a good cause.

Heyo
I am one of the aforementioned dudes. Yes, we are planning on another Cranksgiving this year, shooting for Nov. 12th. I'll post something more "official" on here in a little bit, once we've got a few more details hammered out.

Thanks dude(s). I've done the Milwaukee one the past few years, as I just moved here last year, and always have a great time. I only found out about the one here the day before it happened last year and was so disappointed that I couldn't make it. Look forward to getting some info.

I would participate if it were closer to the actual Holiday (for instance the 23rd or 24th) as I'll be out of town the first several weekends in Nov.
Or how about several events? I'm sure the Food Shelf could use anything we could collect for them in "this economy"!

Hey archiesturmer, sorry for not responding more quickly---I'm not on bikelove as often as I probably should be.
As for the date of CG: doing it on the 23rd or the 24th is a little too late, in my opinion, especially considering that the 24th is actually Thanksgiving. The first year we did it the weekend immediately prior (like many other cities), which turned out to conflict with another scheduled event, so we bumped it up a weekend to ensure we had a "slot" in the social calendar, so to speak. I'm involved in another event on the 19th, so sticking with the 12th seemed like the best bet. So, unless there's a groundswell of support for moving it to the 19th, we're gonna hold the course.
