Ok, so this is the starting location. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie ... 6900f74822The race - Start time. Exactly when the sun hits the horizon. (6:24 pm) We won't be able to see it though. At the beginning there will be a bunch of checkpoints in different areas around there. I'll explain it when you get there. For teams of two you'll be able to split up and get them if you want to do it that way. After that we'll be riding to a location and you'll be riding laps. The race is exactly three hours. How you win- Most laps count first. Time to get to lap course is used to decide who wins tie. If last lap is over the three hour mark the over amount gets added to the time to get to the course. If last lap was under the three hour mark it gets deducted. No laps is a DNF. i.e Rider 1 - 45 minutes to get to lap start + 8 laps. Last lap was under by 5 minutes. Rider 2 - 38 minutes to get to lap start + 8 laps. Last lap was over by 20 minutes. Rider 1 = 40 minutes + 8 laps Rider 2 = 58 minutes + 8 laps Rider 1 wins. Teams - only one rider on course at a time. Tag off to change rider on course. Solo - go and go and go.... Prizes- Everyone knows I was out of work for about 5 weeks from injuries. I just got the total of all my hospital bills from the derby thing ($6,800). The trophy's cost a bit to make so I have to change that. I'm on a tight budget now but there isn't a fee to race so.... There will be a cheaper version though. Something.. I don't know what yet but cheesy for sure. Lights. Not just recommended. Required. No lights no punch-a-fest. It's going to be dark as hell where you're going to be riding. The brighter the better. In the event of rain it's canceled.

Hey thanks to the folks that came out. Sounds like everyone liked the the format/course.
With laps (over all winners) I think we all know Josh won. Regenold came in second. Mark came in third.
Fastest in (before laps)
1. Regenold 8:02:27 pm 2. Mark 8:02:36 3. Landon 8:43
I'll do another one soon.

Brent had his gps on and sent me this map from our ride there from Hum's to the laps start and on the way back picking up the flags. We didn't go north of wirth and get tha one. I'll get it tomorrow unless I can convince Steef to grab it. http://maps.google.com/?t=p&z=15&ll=44. ... d6a7ae846aAlso thanks to the folks that helped out too. I also have someone's helmet here. You thought it was in your pack when you left. It wasn't. Send me a PM so you can get it.
