You just had to rub that in didn't you? Why again do we live in Minnesota?

I think the key to that post is really the use of the tiny yellow face, staring agog at the giant forecast spread.

Seriously, though? Can we all watch out *extra special* for each other in the cold? It'd make the old lady in me feel all fuzzy inside.

California may have better weather, but at least we can't see the air above our city.......

This is beautiful downtown Bakersfield.

Additionally, in the event that you get into a car, you don't encounter this on such a massive scale...

Image

Oh yeah, and we don't have to worry too much about this.....

and our 10 Million dollar homes don't slide down hills.....

Mali-boooo!

No the bigger question is not why do you live in Mpls but why is it that I'm suppose to be racing? Heck just last Saturday I rode 105 miles along the beach up past Malibu....granted it did rain for about 1/2 of it. Still I averaged 19mph for the majority of the ride.

I might just find myself in bed instead. Any chance of competing via rollers?

Kiecker, there is a fair amount of buzz about you and your ability to win this thing, regardless of temperature difference. Maybe when you fly out here you could ride in the luggage compartment to get used to the change in climate!

Remember the end of Peter Pan where everyone has to clap and believe in fairies to help Tinkerbell live?

I'm calling on all MBL-ers to think positive that I won't have to work Saturday. It seems they haven't found anyone to work my shift and until they do... I'll be MIA until the after party. Which sucks more Fairy Dust than Lindsey Lohan...

Kind of up in the air right now, we're still looking for deals. I might have an angle at Kinkos, but I'm going to see if the guy at work that does all of our outsourcing can get a better one when I head in today...

Not much luck on the angle, but for what I just paid, someone better trim those motherfuckers...

I don't think this will make my top 10 list of stupidest things I've ever done, probably not even the top 25. Let's just say it's probably around 31. Ah hell, let's say 39, since that's how old I am. ;)

So we just got the spokecards back and we need to trim them. And we need to start drinking early. (and there's some other stuff that needs to get done too). so...

SpokeCard cutting party at my house

looks like it'll be tomorrow (Friday) at 1ish until we want to eat/roll over to CRC. This is open to anyone that's got tomorrow off of the work and esp anyone that's getting into town early and wants a warm place to be before the festivities.

I just glanced at your post, saw that and thought "What manner of tongues is this weirdo speaking?" lol... Do spam bots even harvest phone numbers? I've never gotten a telemarketing call on my cell.
