I just bought some cycling gear and everything fits great except that my jacket seems real short in the front. It barely comes to my waistline in the front but goes past on all other sides. My jersey is also somewhat short in the front but fits great everywhere else. So is that just the way it's supposed to be cut?

A lot of jackets have "dropped tails" so they don't ride up when cycling. It matters more if you've got a road bike, less if your position is pretty upright.

Most jerseys and jackets are cut like that - they are cut for road use - you can get MTB type stuff that has a less severe cut if you look. Riding position dictates things - you don't want to emulate the plumber on a road bike.

No, really. The rest of us are not on those drugs.
