A bit on an offbeat question - I'm new to serious road cycling and have just bought myself my first fully-carbon bike and all the clothes and accessories that I need to get started, and I'm looking for a super lightweight pair of slip-on shoes that I might be able to carry around in my cycling top pouch? I don't know if such a thing exists.

If I went on a longer ride and wanted to stop off somewhere, it would nice to not have to clomp around in my Sidis :)

Something like this, but even lighter, that might fold up really easily? - 4oz a shoe.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

You should try those roll-up ballet flats.

Not just for walks of shame anymore, my friends.

As a bonus, I can do a nice little pas de deux into the Birchwood :) anyone care to dance?

Nike developed a couple shoes that could fold up while not in use called the City Knife 1 and 2.
Though it'll be difficult to source a pair now as they haven't been made for a quite a while..

Reebok then came out with a rollable sneaker, but they didn't catch on. With their appearance, it's difficult to see why that is.

Oh man, ugly and made by slave kids? That is a double whammy.
