Maybe this should be a product discussion, but thought I'd start here. I just purchased some Keen snow rover boots in hopes that they'd be suitable for winter riding. They fit on my pedals great horizontally but not so much vertically with the toe clips. I'm not a fan of power grips but wondering if anyone knows of another toe clip that is vertically bigger to accommodate the large toe of winter boots. EDIT: Or should I just buy these instead and hope for a smaller toe? http://www.rei.com/product/804927

My MKS metal clips fit my pretty big winter boots pretty well.
Now as to what model they are I don't know. Pretty sure I picked them up used somewheres...

yeah, you can bend the MKS metal ones to be large enough to jam most winter boots into. haven't found any plastic clips that are big enough, which is a bummer considering I don't really need to be sticking my toes into a steel heatsink in the winter

I actually already have the XL MKS ones on here now so perhaps I just need to do some bending.

I have some of these and they do work, but don't use them with nice shoes you don't want scuffed.

It's not a toe clip, but I've used these for many years of winter riding. http://www.rei.com/product/788118Allows for truly warm boots. edit: I see that you are not a fan, sorry I missed that.

comically enough I found a pair of no name plastic ones in my parts bin that actually are doing the job quite well with wide enough space for my boots.
